Rudy's Soda Bar and Cafe is a gem! The staff is not only prompt and friendly, but they go above and beyond to accommodate food preferences. They even created a turkey club for me, despite it not being on the menu. This all-American diner is a must-visit!

This place was amazing! I got pulled pork over Mac and cheese (a lunch special) and my wife had a hot honey chicken finger sandwich. The price for what you get is great. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We will be back when we are in the area. Oh the best strawberry milkshake I have had in a long time!! What a gem of a place!

Rudy’s is small town Americana at its very best, a beloved diner with a rich history and a charming, relaxed atmosphere. Seasoned staff are super nice, fun and always quick with a coffee refill. I love the comfort food and casual camaraderie of this friendly sanctuary. You’ll always feel welcome and at home at Rudy’s in a booth, at a table or on a low stool at the countertop. It’s my go-to choice for perfectly prepared eggs over easy with sausage links, home fries, Rudy’s signature rye toast and a bottomless cup of tasty-enough diner coffee, especially when friends and family are in town. I relish the healthy banter one always finds among customers here. And the staff are saints, never seeming to mind re-hearing my boring travel stories. When I was a kid Rudy’s was the George Wolcott Dairy, the place you’d go to buy Wolcott’s ice cream at Christmas time, the vanilla version with the red and green peppermint candies swirled in. In summer, you’d ride your bike here for paper-wrapped nutty buddy ice cream cones from the freezer. Have I devoured Rudy’s famous one pound Mojo Burger yet? Of course. But don’t waste too much time looking for my name among the thousands on the walls. But my favorite lunch item here will always be the beef on weck - it’s the best in Medina!
